1. Clean Rhythm
A clear, controlled clean scene for rhythmic chord work, tighter pop parts and passages that need definition without excessive ambience.
2. Clean Arp
An arpeggio-focused clean tone with a light clean-breakup character, designed for open voicings, wider textures and touch-sensitive accompaniment.
3. Crunch Rhythm
A balanced pop/rock crunch with body, attack and note separation, voiced to stay clear inside a full-band mix.
4. Crunch Solo
A more forward crunch scene with additional sustain and projection for melodic fills and rock solos while retaining definition.
5. Lead Solo
A smooth, fluid and sustaining lead scene for expressive phrasing, legato playing and featured melodic solos.
A Complete HeadRush Live Rig Architecture
The five scenes are not separate sounds assembled at random. Input level, compression, gain stages, amplifier paths, IRs, EQ and effects are designed to work together as one complete live system.

🎚️ Optimized Input and Expression Control
The rig starts with an optimized input stage. The volume pedal provides normal volume control and also works as an expression controller for the delay, giving you additional real-time control without changing rigs.
🎛️ Compression Built Around the Five Scenes
A Vintage Compressor is used to give the clean scenes a little extra body and consistency. A separate Slammer compressor is dedicated to the solo sounds, helping the Crunch Solo and Lead Solo scenes feel smoother and more fluid while preserving the character of the amp section.
🔥 Drive and Clean Boost Stages
The drive section includes scene-specific overdrive behavior for the Crunch Solo and Lead Solo sounds. A dedicated boost is used to push the signal into the amplifier section without becoming the main source of coloration, increasing drive and sustain while keeping the rig controlled.
🎸 Dedicated Amp Architecture
Clean and crunch sounds use their own amplifier path. The Lead Solo section uses a dedicated lead architecture created by blending two low-gain amplifier voices, allowing additional sustain and density without relying on excessive gain from a single amp.
🔊 Two IRs and Post-IR EQ
The rig uses two IRs: one dedicated to the clean sounds and one shared by the crunch and lead sounds. A single EQ block sits after the IR section and provides final tonal balancing across the five scenes.
✨ Chorus, Delay and Reverb by Scene
Chorus, delay and reverb are not fixed globally. Their settings change according to the active scene so each sound gets the amount of width, depth and ambience it needs without forcing one effect balance across the whole rig.
➕ More Sounds Beyond the Five Main Scenes
The five named scenes are the ready-to-play core of the rig, but the footswitch assignments also give you additional live combinations. Especially on the clean sounds, you can add or remove the boost, the JCR overdrive or the Greener overdrive to create further variations without leaving the rig.
Built for the Stage
The real-live demo uses the same rig supplied with the product. The reference guitar is an EART VS60 Strat/Superstrat-style instrument with pickups modified by Vincenzo Fiore. With a different guitar or listening system, only a small EQ adjustment may occasionally be useful to match the exact response of the demo.
