Purple Rain Guitar Tone for HeadRush Prime, Core & Flex Prime

Description

🎸 Purple Rain HeadRush Preset – Complete 3-Scene Performance Rig

This Purple Rain HeadRush preset is designed for HeadRush Prime, Core and Flex Prime as a complete performance rig with three dedicated scenes: Clean, Rhythm and Lead.

The Clean scene was developed through A/B comparison with the official recording. The Rhythm and Lead scenes were intentionally refined into a more modern, dynamic and stage-ready interpretation, with strong note separation, controlled gain, sustain and expressive response.

🎛️ Explore the Complete Rig

Explore the complete signal chain and overall rig structure used in the Purple Rain HeadRush preset for HeadRush Prime, Core and Flex Prime. This overview shows the main amp path and post-amp effects section behind the Clean, Rhythm and Lead scenes.

🎛️ 3 Performance-Ready Scenes

✅ Clean — open, defined and ambience-rich, built from A/B comparison with the official recording.

✅ Rhythm — dynamic and articulate for both separated chord work and power chords.

✅ Lead — modern, low-to-moderate gain, fluid and sustaining, with a response that cleans up naturally from the guitar volume.

🌧️ Shared Ambience for a Continuous Feel

Chorus, delay and reverb are voiced as one coherent environment across all three scenes. The result is a rig that feels connected throughout the song instead of sounding like three unrelated presets.

🎚️ Expression-Controlled Delay Mix

The volume pedal also works as an expression controller for the delay mix, allowing you to make the sound drier or more spacious in real time without changing scene.
