The GX-100 configuration lets you move through clean, crunch and lead sounds with performance-minded assignments. Wah is available on Clean Rhythm and Rock Rhythm. Tap Tempo is supported.
Wah is not demonstrated in the video. On delay-dependent tones, simultaneous Wah operation is not recommended because of the shared expression functionality.
Designed for realistic guitar response
Purposeful amp and effects programming, with compression, EQ, chorus, reverb and delay where needed. The aim is a natural pick attack, articulate phrasing and a stable clean-to-lead balance.

GX-100 / GX-10 compatibility
✓ GX-100: designed and tested.
✓ GX-10: GX-100 Liveset format compatible. The GX-10 has fewer physical controls: custom footswitch and expression assignments were not tested and must be adapted by the user after import. No dedicated GX-10 control layout is supplied.
✕ GT-1000: not compatible.
Global EQ & reference guitar
Built with the GX-100 Global EQ enabled, cutting below 80 Hz and above 6.3 kHz. Adjust according to your FRFR, PA, headphones or amp.
Reference input: +12 dB with a Jeff Beck-style bridge pickup and Texas Special-style middle/neck pickups. Your instrument may need different input and EQ settings.

Is this a complete rig or five separate downloads?
It is one complete BOSS GX-100 performance patch offering five selectable tones.
Can I use the patch on BOSS GX-10?
GX-100 Liveset files are compatible, but you must adapt footswitch and expression assignments yourself. The original GX-100 physical control layout is not guaranteed.
Does the demo show Wah playing?
No. Wah is programmed for Clean Rhythm and Rock Rhythm, but it is not demonstrated in this performance video.
Is it designed for high-gain metal?
No. This rig emphasizes expressive clean, pop, melodic rock and fusion-oriented playing rather than extreme metal gain.
Can I change the rig for my pickups or FRFR speaker?
Yes. Start with the reference settings, then adjust input calibration and Global EQ for your instrument and monitoring setup.
